Track Record
WRB Racing have been one of the leading syndicate specialists for many years, often topping the performance leagues. For a fully inclusive monthly cost (from £99), WRB offer shares in racehorses in multiples of 5% and there are on average about 10 people in each syndicate. The owners have access to see their horse in the yard and working on the gallops whenever they want and receive an owner’s badge every time they go racing. They receive their full share of prizemoney won. The syndicates are professionally and independently managed and have been highly successful. All owners receive a friendly and personal service, both from WRB and from the trainer. The first runner was in November 1988, and the first winner, in April 1989, was a horse called Rothko, in which Harvey Smith had a 50% share, and trained by George Moore. Rothko went on to win the 1992 Philip Cornes Saddle of Gold Final, as an 11-y-o, when trained by Sue Smith, with Muse, Triple Witching and Young Hustler all behind. We have had runners at all 61 racetracks in Britain, from Perth in the North to Brighton in the South, and from Newton Abbott in the West to Yarmouth in the East. We have had winners at all courses in Scotland. Over the years, we have had horses with 35 different trainers and have given two trainers their first winners. We now have a nation-wide operation and currently have horses in training split between David Nicholls, Harry Dunlop, Tim Vaughan, Evan Williams, Jedd O’Keeffe, David O'Meara, Sheena West, Jamie Osborne, Hugh Morrison, Chris Grant, Declan Carroll, and Micky Hammond. 300 different jockeys have ridden for the syndicates including Frankie Dettori, Tony McCoy, Paul Hanagan, Keiron Fallon, Ryan Moore, Robert Winston, Seb Sanders, Richard Hughes, Jamie Spencer, Darryl Holland, Denis O'Regan, Graham Lee, Robert Thornton, Olivier Peslier, Kevin Darley, Pat Eddery, Robert Winston, Willie Carson and Walter Swinburn. WRB have given 3 jockeys their first ever ride and 4 jockeys their first ever winner. Our most successful horses have been Kylkenny, the winner of 24 races and 7 in 2005, Gulf Shaadi, the winner of 14 races and over £140,000 in prizemoney, Joseph Wine, the winner of 14 races, Green Bopper the winner of 10 races including the Edinburgh Gold Cup, Explosive Speed, who still holds a course record, the winner of 10 races, 3 on the flat, 3 over hurdles and 4 over fences, Glory Quest the winner of 9 races, Golan Way, the winner of 8 races, including a Grade 2 hurdle at Cheltenham and wins on the flat, over hurdles and over fences, and Route Sixty Six, who won on the flat, over hurdles and over fences for her owners.
